Vote for Responsible Growth and community Values.

Just like you, I choose to live, work, and raise my family in Woodlawn, TN. I love living here and, like you, I’ve watched the incredible growth in the rest of the county, and the impact of planning decisions that seem to make our commute times longer and more chaotic every day. I’ve seen the cost of living multiply, while our family income stagnates. The schools my kids go to are facing 21st century challenges that are not being met and, when they graduate, my children are facing an uncertain job market.

The people in charge of decision making are not listening to enough ordinary people! I believe it’s time for change in the Montgomery County Commission, and that is why I am running.

Why vote for me?

Our local government needs some new faces to keep the good “ol’ boys club” in check!

I will NOT be taking any dark money from PACS. My campaign will be funded by small donors.

I’ve raised three children on one income. I know how to make plans and keep to a budget.

I am passionate about local issues like traffic, schools, and housing.

I am intensely interested in helping our community grow, while still maintaining it’s unique character.

What makes district 7 special?

Woodlawn is part of Montgomery County, but it is also it’s own separate community. The people who live here appreciate that and, while we love being close to Clarksville, we are not part of the city so we have different issues and interests.
We’re close to the tri-county dump, so decisions about it affect us more than other parts of the county.
We are dependent on Dover Road and 101st parkway to get to work and school.
We are a rural community with not much infrastructure.
We love being close to nature and the rural character of our community.
We are next to the Fort Campbell army base and many of our residents are current or former military.
We don’t have our own middle or high school, so our older kids commute 20 minutes plus to school.

Donate to my campaign

I understand that times are hard right now, and every penny is accounted for. Honestly, I intensely dislike fundraising, but things like yard signs, and social media ads cost money. If you would be able to contribute even the smallest amount, I will be extremely honored and grateful.
